Dr. (Mrs.) MaryJoan Ugboaku Iheanacho was born in 1958 in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria. She hails from Obinze in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. Her educational qualifications include N.C.E. (1982); Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri; B.ED (1991) University of Nigeria, Nsukka, while PGDM; 2002; EMBA; 2004; MBA; 2008 and Ph.D; 2018 respectively, in the University of Calabar – Nigeria. She joined the University of Calabar in 2013, with her Master’s Degree as an Assistant Lecturer; and by 2016, promoted as a Lecturer II; with a Ph.D (2018), specializing in Human Resource Management. She has for now published 5 academic publications and with 2 accepted articles for publications in both Local and International Journals to show. She has taught in all levels of education (from primary – tertiary education): and occupied some key positions in the University in one time or the other. Exams Officer 2014 – 2016, Member of Department accreditation team (2015 and 2018). Socially she is currently the President of Unical/UCTH Igbo Women Association 2015 till date. .
