Mr. John Fidelis Inaku

Barr John Fidelis Inaku holds a Master of Laws (LL. M) degree in Law from the Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U) Zaria in 2012 and is a Ph. D. candidate in the University of Uyo. He graduated from Faculty of Law in 2004 with Second Class Upper Division and was awarded The Best-Behaved Student of the University of that year. His passion to serve humanity saw him through as one of the most celebrated presidents of the Students Union Government of the University of Calabar between 2001 and 2002. In that capacity, he impacted positively on both the students and the entire University community and the students of his generation and others remember his leadership with nostalgia. He joined the services of the University in 2016 as a Lecturer II. Mr. Inaku has been teaching and contributing to the graduation of undergraduate students in the Faculty of Law. He has taught many courses at the undergraduate level since he joined the services of the University of Calabar some of which are Nigerian Legal System, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Business Law and Anti-corruption. He has published in both local and international peer review journals. Mr. Inaku served as the assistant editor of Excellence in Legal Studies in Nigeria (2016), a Faculty of Law publication and also as the Secretary of the Faculty of Law Disciplinary Committee. He served as an Examination Officer of the Faculty. He has attended many conferences. His diligence in the educational turf and services to mankind has earned him awards including Award of the Best-Behaved Student of University of Calabar in 2004, an Exceptional Leader’s Award by the Students Union Government in 2004, Trail Blazer Award by the National Association Nigerian Students (NANS) IN 2004, an award of Honour by Students Union Government in 2016 and 2017. Barr. John Fidelis Inaku is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, and Nigeria Association of Law Teachers .
