Iyeli I. Iyeli holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctorate (Ph.D) degrees in Economics. He has also bagged a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management. Dr. Iyeli is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, University of Calabar. His areas of specialization and research interest are Econometrics, Mathematical Economics, Monetary Economics, International Economics and Economic Theory. He has been teaching and researching in these areas of Economics for years. Dr. Iyeli has taught Economics at both undergraduate and graduate levels.He is technically skilled, talented and effective in computational economics. He has to his credit more than 30 articles published in learned journals within and outside Nigeria. Dr. Iyeli is a teacher, researcher and economic-management consultant. He has a very rich background and diversified teaching experiences in various universities in Nigeria. This makes him a worthy recipient ofthe prestigious fellows of the Institute of Operations Research of Nigeria and Institute of Chartered Economist of Nigeria. He is also a member of the Nigerian Economic Society and European Center for Research Training and Development, United Kingdom. He is happily married with children..
