Dr. Ita Micah Esuabana

Dr. Ita Micah Esuabana is currently the Head of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Calabar, Calabar. He is a native of Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D., M.sc degrees in Applied Mathematics as well as a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics/Statistics all from the University of Calabar. He was employed as a Lecturer in the Cross River University of Technology, Calabar in 2002 and later transferred his service to the University of Calabar in 2016. His research area include impulsive differential equations, singular integral equations, numerical methods etc. and have over twenty two article publications to his credit in both local and foreign journals. He has taught courses at graduate and undergraduate programmes in Mathematics among which include Real Analysis, Ordinary Differential Equations, Numerical Methods, Functional Analysis, Complex analysis, Asymptotic methods etc. He has supervised several undergraduate and post graduate students and is currently supervising five(5) post graduate and Three(3) undergraduate students. He is happily married with three kids. .
