Mr Harrison C. Ajebon joined the University of Calabar (UNICAL) in October 2010 as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Political Science. He was promoted to the position of Lecturer II in 2014. Before joining Unical, he studied for an M.Sc in Political Science at the premier University of Ibadan (2007-2009). He holds a B.Sc degree (second class upper) in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Benin (2000-2004). Currently, Harrison is a Doctoral research student and a Commonwealth Scholar in the School of Government and International Affairs, Durham University, United Kingdom. His research interest includes subjects in International Relations, Peace and conflict studies, Critical security Studies, Nigerian Foreign Policy, and Nigerian Government and Politics. His hobbies includes meeting people and networking professionally, photography, and volunteering for humanitarian cause like the Nigerian Red Cross Society and the British Red Cross. Harrison has published in local and international journals and has participated in notable international conferences. He is a member of several professional academic institutions like the International Political Science Association (IPSA), Political Studies Association (PSA), International Studies Association (ISA), amongst others. He is happily married; a parent, a Christian and he is often acknowledged for his strength of character, commitment to duty and profound integrity. .
