.Mr. Friday Bassey Agala joined the services of the University of Calabar, Calabar in 2015 as a Graduate Assistant, having been retained by the university following his sterling academic performance in the Department of Economics that culminated in First Class (Hons.) degree in 2014. He was later upgraded to an Assistant Lecturer in 2017. Subsequently, Mr. Agala was awarded M.Sc. by the University of Ibadan, Ibadan in 2018. His areas of research interest are Environmental Sustainability, Public Policy, Resources Management, Behavioral Economics, Economic Theory, and Applied Econometrics. He has held positions of responsibility at the University of Calabar and has served as a member of, the Department of Economics Quality Assurance Committee (2019-2021), and he is currently the Staff Adviser of the National Economics Students Association (NESA), University of Calabar Branch. He is a member of the African Green Economy Society (AGES), the Corporate Institute for Strategic Research (CISR), and the Nigerian Economic Society..
