Dr. Francis Aniezi Nwagwu is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Wildlife Resources Management, University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. he joined the services of the University in 1994 as a Graduate Assistant. He attended Federal Government College Okigwe, University of Calabar (B.Sc. Agric (Crop Science) and University of Ibadan, Ibadan (M.Sc, Ph.D Agronomy (Weed Science) all in Nigeria. He teaches in the areas of Crop Production and Weed Science with his research interests covering integrated weed management, crop nutrition. He has successfully supervised three postgraduate diplomas, four M.Sc students and co-supervised two Ph.D students. He is a member of the Weed Science Society of Nigeria, Crop Science Society of Nigeria and Agricultural Society of Nigeria and has attended several conferences. He has scholarly publications in international and local journals. He is married with a child. .
