Dr. Emmanuel E. Etta was employed into the University of Calabar on the 20th of April, 2010 into the Department of Philosophy as Assistant Lecturer. He was subsequently upgraded to the rank of Lecturer II in the same year. He was further promoted to Lecturer I in 2013. In 2016, he was promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer. Dr. Emmanuel E. Etta holds a B.A degree in Philosophy awarded in 2000,, M.A degree in Philosophy awared in 2006 and PhD in Philosophy awarded in 2010 all from the University of Calabar with specialty in African Philosophy. Dr. Emmanuel E. Etta has been teaching, supervising and researching in Philosophy. Dr. Emmanuel E. Etta has delivered a Talk on Cultural Heritage and Water at the Old Residency Museum, Calabar (2013). He is a Co-editor of Calabar Journal of Philosophy and Leadership Studies. Grants Proposal on the Development of University of Calabar Museum submitted to NDDC (2015)..
