Emilia J. Oyira is a Doctor of Philosophy of Educational Psychology. She teaches courses in Educational Psychology and Psychiatry in the Department of Nursing Science, University of Calabar, Calabar. Dr. Emilia Oyira is a product of Presbyterian School Ugep, where she obtained her West African Schools Certificate and Senior Secondary School Certificate of Education (SSCE). She holds the Bachelor of Nursing Science degree of the University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria, Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Masters and Ph.D Degrees in Educational Psychology of the University of Calabar, Calabar. Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN), Walden University Baltimore, USA. She is an Examiner for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nursing (FWACN). She is the author of Concept of Management and Organization in Nursing Care Services. She has authored several articles in learned Journals both National and International. She is happily married to Chief Engr Oyira. She has authored additional two books in nursing they are professionalism in nursing and psychology and psychiatric (Abnormal Psychology) in nursing. She is a fellow of West African Collage of Nursing and a fellow in Institute of Administration. She has supervised several undergraduate research work, masters project, and PhD thesis.
