Dr Emeka Charles Ekeke bagged his PhD in 2016 in University of Calabar, Calabar, with specialisation in Ethics. He graduated from Atlantic International University, Honolulu, Hawaii, the USA in 2013 with PhD in Church History. In 2010 he bagged M.A. from University of Calabar, Calabar, with major in Biomedical Ethics. In 2010 he graduated from Assemblies of God Divinity School of Nigeria, Old Umuahia, Affiliate of the University of Uyo with B.Th. degree. He had B.A. (First Class) 2006, from University of Calabar, Calabar, in Religious Studies. He was a nominee for the 12th ROYAN International Research Award on Epidemiology and Human Reproductive Ethics by Royan Institute, Tehran, Iran Sept.7- 9, 2011. He is the recipient of the Most Rev. (Dr) Brian Usanga’s award for the best graduating student of the Department of Religious Studies/Philosophy 2005/2006 session, the University of Calabar in 2006. He was also awarded Papa S. O. Abang’s award for best graduating student of the Department of Religious Studies/Philosophy 2005/2006 session, the University of Calabar in 2006. He is an awardee of the Meritorious Diamond Award for National Development (MEDA 2013) in CHRISTIAN RELIGION & HIGHER EDUCATION CATEGORY-National Merit Award House, Abuja Nigeria, 2013. He was given a research study grant for PhD in Religious Studies by Atlantic International University, Honolulu, Hawaii, the USA worth $3000 USD. He has published 27 journal articles in national and international fully referred journals one of which is “Solving the Problem of Infertility among Christians: A Bioethical Appraisal†American Journal of Social and Management Sciences 1(2) December 2010: 201- 208. Dr Ekeke lectures in the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies, the University of Calabar where he teaches courses in Church History, Biomedical Ethics and Anti-Corruption Studies. He is a member of the following learned scholarly organisations: National Association of Science, Humanities and Education Research; American Academy of Religion; American Society of Church History; Society for the Scientific Study of Religion. He is presently the Coordinator, Turnitin Programme of Graduate School for Faculty of Arts, University of Calabar. He is committed to the progress of humanity and his institution..
