Dr. Tangban, Egbe Ebagu, is a registered Professional social worker a well as a lecturer with the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria where he momentary serves as CES Registration Officer for final year 5/5 Programme of the Department. Holds of Doctorate (Ph.D) and a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Sociology of Development, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Social Work and a Diploma in Environmental Education all from the prestigious University of Calabar, Calabar. He is a member of Nigeria Sociological and Anthropological Association (NSASA), Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASOW), Associate member Institute of Social Work of Nigeria, as well as a member of society for Research and Academic Excellence (SRAE). He is a focused and result oriented scholar with a penchant for solving problems with a view to enhancing teaching and learning, academic advancement and community selfless service. With a tremendous experience in counseling, rendering of medical social services, poverty analysis and alleviation, social development and transformation. He has interest in poverty alleviation mechanisms, community as well as children, displaced persons and the aged. Dr. Tangban has authored and co-authored a number of academic articles and presented papers in numerous conferences both International and National. .
