Mrs. Chibuzo Christiana Unwanede is an academic staff in the Department of Social Works, University of Calabar, Nigeria. She joined the services of the University in 2010 as Lecturer II with M.Sc. (Industrial/Organizational Psychology (2019) and B.A. (Hons) Theatre Arts degrees from the University of Ibadan. She also holds a Diploma in Data Processing and PGD in Education from NTI, Kaduna. She has taught courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Social Work Service for the Aged, Social thought and Theory, Social Psychology, Gender and Social Work, Women in Society, etc, Nutrition and Dietetics etc. She has held several responsibilities in the Department of Sociology and Social Works such as Examinations Officer, Welfare Officer, Member, Result Audit and Verification Committee, Member office refurbishing committee etc. She hails from Bisu in Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. Her areas of research interest are Gender and leadership development, Social Works etc. She has various publications in reputable Journals both locally and internationally and has attended several conferences, seminars and workshops to date. She is a member of many professional associations including Nigerian Psychological Association and Nigerian Association of Social Work Educators amongst others..
