Dr Brown Egbe Isokon is a staff of the University of Calalabr, Calabar. He was first engaged as a lecturer 11 in MARCH, 2016 in the Department of Sociology, and later moved to the Department of Social work when it was separated from Sociology Department in 2017. He is a member - Population Association of Nigeria (PAN), member - Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASOW), Member - Association of Social Work Educators (ASWE) and member - Society for Research and Academic Excellence. Aside from lecturing duties, he has judiciously carried out assignments of responsibilities in the following areas: member - Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) sports committee from 2018 till date; Registration officer CES 5 years from 2018 till date; Member - Departmental Review Quality Assurance Committee from 2019 till date; NUC project coordinator from 2019 till date; member Departmental research and publications committee and member- departmental office management/equipment. He has published articles in both local and international journals and also attended both local and foreign conferences. He has also published a novel titled: Festival Maiden in 2007. .
