Dr Bassey, Ini Ubi currently works at the Department of Microbiology, University of Calabar. He is a native of Ediba, Ezono, Abi Local Government of Cross River state. Ini does research in Environmental Microbiology/public health microbiology and Bioremediation. Dr Bassey Ini Ubi published over 48 articles in both local and international journals. Dr Bassey has also published two books (Introduction to Environmental Microbiology and Introduction to Public Health Microbiology). His current project is 'Global warming potentials of solid waste dumpsites and metagenomic analysis, Microbes and climate change and Bioremediation of polluted environments. .
