Bassey Eyo Bassey is an indigene of Ebom in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River state, Nigeria. He attended the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka and subsequently attended University of Calabar, Calabar. He was employed as a graduate assistant in 1996 in the Department of Accounting, University of Calabar, where he obtained his MBA, M.Sc and Ph.D Degrees in 2002, 2004 and 2007 respectively. He was among other positions, the Head of Department of Accounting Between 2012/2013-2013/2014 academic sessions. Dr. Bassey has also supervised and graduated not less than five M.Sc and Ph.D students. He has attended many local and international academic conferences. He has a versatile teaching experience not only in the University of Calabar, but also in other Universities across the country. Dr. Bassey has over twenty-eight journal articles published in reputable local and foreign journals. He has over a hundred citations to his academic works and contributions. He is a member of The Academy of Management as well as a fellow of Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management. Dr. Bassey is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting in the University of Calabar..
