Alexander Essien Timothy is a Lecturer in the Arts Education Department, Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Calabar. He holds a Ph.D in Curriculum Studies with specialization in language Arts Education. He is currently the Examinations Officer, course Adviser, Staff Adviser in the Department. He is also the Editor of the Faculty of Education Bulletin. He is involved in teaching, research, project supervision and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students. He is a member of the Mixed Methods International Research Association, World Council of Curriculum and Instruction and President and Founder of Calabar Qualitative Researchers Association. His area of Research interest is English Language Instructional Strategies and the application of digital technologies in ESL (English as a Second Language). He is also interested in Gender studies and Inclusive Education. He has several publications in local and foreign Journals of repute and has attended several conferences in Nigeria and abroad.
