Agorye Cletus Agiende, is a Staff of the Department of History and International Studies, University of Calabar. A Post Graduate Student with specialization in Strategic Studies. Other research interests include Defense, International Boundaries and Borderlands and Security. Presently researching on “The Ogoja Province: A Strategic ‘Gateway' during the Nigerian Civil War 1966-1970” for my Masters Thesis. Has attended and presented papers in conferences within the University community. He hails from Obudu L. G. A in Cross River State. He Graduated with a B. A (Hons) degree in History and International Studies with Second Class Upper division. .
