Mr. Agbor Itu Bassey, Esq. is an indigene of Calabar Municipality, Cross River State of Nigeria. He attended the Presbyterian Church Primary School, Big Qua Town, Calabar, after which he proceeded to the prestigious Hope Waddell Training Institution, Calabar where he completed his secondary education in 1999. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Calabar in 2008 with a Bachelor of law (LL.B. Honors) Degree, Second Class Upper Division). He was admitted into the Nigeria Law School, Abuja Campus in 2009 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2010. He was later posted to Anambra State for his National Youth Service in 2010 and was deployed to serve in the law firm of OBA-OKWUOSA AND ASSOCIATES (HOUSE OF SOLOMON), Suit 112, Nipost Complex, Onitsha, Anambra State where he started his legal practice. After his NYSC, he relocated to Calabar and proceeded with private legal practice from 2012 till date. He has practiced with many law firms including OKON EFUT (SAN) AND ASSOCIATES, No.4, Eta Agbor Road, Calabar. He has a Diploma Degree in Computer Information Technology. He also has a Certificate of Training and Proficiency in Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR). He is a Member of some professional bodies including the following :- The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), an Associate Member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria, (ISMN), a member of Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators of Nigeria (APNM) and a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development, (FIPMD). He has a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) and he is a Lecturer in the Faculty of law, University of Calabar. .
