An academic, passionate about research. Trained, qualified, a laboratory scientist with more than 10 years’ experience in Laboratory work. Had my undergraduate studies in Chemistry, and obtained postgraduate degrees in Biochemistry and a PhD in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry. I am endowed with a strong interest and expert ability in my subject area. My skill set includes organisation and flexibility to work with different demands on my time. As a Lecturer, I have the ability to motivate and inspire students, with confidence to present lectures to large groups of students and participate in conferences. I possess strong interpersonal skills with ability to express myself clearly, both in speech and in writing. My IT skills are good and handy for research. I have experience in online work with students and can utilise resources and my negotiation skills to work with people across the university commitment to achieve personal, professional and corporate development..
