Professor Zsolt Lipcsy joined the services of the University of Calabar, Calabar Nigeria in 1984 from Hungary with M.Sc. Degrees in physics and in mathematics. In addition, He had a Ph.D. and a C.Sc. Degrees in mathematics. Based on His Hungarian appointments (Computer and Automation Institute - senior research fellow, and Department of Analysis II., Eotvos Lorand University, Faculty of Natural Sciences - reader) He was appointed as a Senior Lecturer which changed to a reader in 1986 and to a professor by 1991. He teaches pure mathematics: analysis, metric spaces, topology, functional analysis, modern algebra, algebraic topology, measure theory, control theory, optimization. In computer science He also teaches courses such as: compiler construction, computer graphics, structured programming, program design, software engineering. His projects ranged from numerous B.Sc., M.Sc. and 8 Ph.D. theses. Out of these graduates three are professors, three readers by now. The research topics among others are various topics in impulsive differential equations and multi-objective optimization, complexity and computability theories and computer networking. Recently He supervise two Ph.D. projects with topics in the rank of semigroups and the other is on De Rham cohomologies. Two M.Sc. Projects with topics: on cohomology theory, the other is in computer science – on np-complex algorithms. He has published several articles in learned journal and attended various Local and International conferences. .
