Mr Victor E. Nyong is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Geology, Faculty of Physical Sciences in the University of Calabar. He holds a BSc degree in Geology (Second Class Upper) from the University of Calabar (2007), MSc degree in Engineering Geology, University of Calabar (2014) and currently studying for his PhD in Engineering Geology/ Rock Mechanics. His research interests include environmental safety and sustainability through the efficient deployment and utilization of geo-materials. He has been involved in some consultancy services such as investigation of engineering sites and geo-materials for construction purposes. He is married with two children. His hobbies include listening to good music, football and swimming. .
