Mr. Toochukwu Ide is an Assistant Lecturer in the University of Calabar since February 2015. He has been involved in teaching undergraduate students in the department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics. He has also supervised students at their clinical postings in the hospitals as well as in the laboratories for practicals. He has conducted researches in the areas of Public Health Nutrition particularly on obesity and associated non-communicable diseases among adult population, which some of the research findings have been published in reputable journals. He is currently researching on obesity and metabolic diseases as part of his ongoing PhD thesis..
