Mrs. Scholastica Ashibebonye Abuh-Amasi, is a Lecturer, Data entry and management specialist and a microentrepreneur. She has extensive higher education teaching and research experience in various areas of Economics which spans over 3 years, having worked with the University of Calabar, Calabar since 2019. Her teaching and research experience cuts across Economic Theory, Development Economics, Health Economics, and Monetary Economics. She resigned her appointment with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) in 2019 where she worked as a Senior ERC Officer for over 5 years. Presently, Mrs. Scholastica Abuh-Amasi lectures Macroeconomics, Research Methodology and Health Economics, at the department of Economics, University of Calabar. She combines lecturing assignment with her PhD studies, as well as running her hair business on a micro scale. Scholastica is a goal getter and team player, with great interpersonal skills. She is also an enthusiastic person who enjoys travelling, reading and meeting people. She derives joy in mentoring students and other young people who have challenges understanding a course or subject. She is happily married and blessed with three children..
