Mr Offong Edet Ntekim served as a Lecturer during his NYSC days in the Department of Mathematics/Statistics, Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State between January, 2002 and January, 2003. He was a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics/Statistics, Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden, Akwa Ibom State from March, 2011 to June, 2011 before he joined the Department of Mathematics, University of Calabar in May, 2011 as Assistant Lecturer where he is lecturing till date. Mr Ntekim rose to the rank of Lecturer II in 2014. Mr Offong Ntekim holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics/Statistics (2001) and M.Sc. degree (2009) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He has been teaching, mentoring and contributing to the graduation of students in the University. Mr Ntekim has served as Coordinator, Mathematics for Management and Social Sciences from 2014 to 2018 and is presently serving as undergraduate Project Coordinator. He has successfully supervised many undergraduate projects in both pure and applied mathematics. He was resource person at FGN-UBE 2012 Teachers’ Professional Development Program. He has many publications in both foreign and local journals and is a member of Mathematical Association of Nigeria..
