DR. NSIMAH MONDAY ESSIEN was employed as Laboratory Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Basic Medical Science, University of Calabar in 1980. He was admitted into University of Calabar to study Science Laboratory Technology where he obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) from National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST Ibadan 1995). From there, he was promoted to the rank of a Technologist after his NYSC in 1997. He processed in his academic career where he was awarded Post Graduate Diploma, University of Calabar in 1999 (Nutritional and Food Science), M.Sc. in 2006 and a Ph.D in 2010. After which he was converted from Technologist to a Lecturer in October, 2011. He has published about Twelve articles in both local and international reviewed journals. DR. NSIMAH M. ESSIEN has participated in many conferences in Nigeria where he has made presentation. He has supervised teaching practice both undergraduate and postgraduate students projects numbering over thirty and he belong to many professional bodies which include Nutrition Society of Nigeria, Nigeria Institute of Science and Technologist and Nigeria Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.   .
