Kwita Adomi was employed to the University of Calabar, Calabar in 2013 as a Graduate Assistant. Kwita holds a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Calabar and a Masters of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Calabar. Kwita Adomi teaches different courses in Communication including: Advertising, Public Relations, Theories of Communication, News Writing and Reporting, Advanced and Specialised Reporting, Introduction to Photography, Introduction to Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). Kwita Adomi has attended some conferences and has also been involved in the planning of some conferences. Kwita has conducted some researches like: Media ownership and its influence on journalism practice: Perspective of Practitioners in Calabar, Newspaper headlines as a tool for political propaganda in Nigeria, Advertising and Journalism Practice in Calabar amongst others. She has also collaborated with scholars in the field of communication such as Ekpe Edemekong, Dr. Augustine Mboso, Ogri Eric, Otakore, George and so forth. Kwita is a member of professional bodies like; African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). She is also visible on Academia.edu, Research Gate, LinkedIn, University of Calabar Website. Kwita Adomi has four publications all co-authored with other communication scholars. .
