Joan Nweke was employed to the University of Calabar, Calabar in 2017 as an Assistant Lecturer. Joan holds a Bachelor and a Masters of Arts Degrees from Abia State University, Uturu. Joan Nweke teaches various Mass Communication courses including: Introduction to Mass Communication, Introduction to New Media, Specialised Reporting. Joan has since been attending conferences and conference activities. She has collaborated with scholars in the communication field such as Dr Onwukwe David Chima, Godwin Omelaga, Prof Okugo Chukwuemeka Uzoma. .
