Mr. J.A. Abuchu holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics/Statistics from the University of Calabar that was awarded in the year 2014. He was the best graduating student in his class. In 2019, J.A. Abuchu was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan. J.A. Abuchu is a result-oriented academic and an active researcher who has published scholarly articles in academic journals. He is a member of the Nigerian Mathematical Society. His area of interest is nonlinear Functional Analysis (variational inequality/Fixed point theory). Mr. Abuchu has been an Assistant Examinations Officer in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Sciences Representative to the Faculty of Social Sciences (2020-2022). His contribution to the general development of his department and the University of Calabar as a whole is evident..
