Mr Iwara O. Obono is an information security expert who started his career as a system analyst with the Cross-River State Government, where he left to work as computer Information Technologist Manager in Pamol Nigeria Limited: a subsidiary of DN-Tyre and Rubber Company. He holds a B. Tech degree in Computer Science awarded by the Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2000 and MSc. degree in Information Management and Security from University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom (2015). He is also into security threat modeling and undertakes research in Machine learning. He has served in both public and private sectors from where he acquired a huge wealth of experience in software development, networking and security, database management, etc. Mr Obono joined the services of the University of Calabar in 2016 as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science where he teaches, research and mentor students at all levels. Mr. Obono has a number of publications and is visible on google scholar and research gates. .
