Dr. Iwara Arikpo Iwara

Dr Iwara obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 2008 and a Doctorate degree 2016 in Biochemistry with specialty in Biochemical Toxicology, at the University of Calabar. He has over the years taught various aspect of Biochemistry to Undergraduate students in Medicine and Surgery, Anatomy, Physiology, Med Lab Sc., and Biological Sciences. He has supervised and mentored over 5 under graduate students and published over 20 articles in reputable pee-reviewed journals. Prior to his employment as an academic staff, Dr Iwara has work as a research assistant at the Endocrine and Phytomedicine Research Laboratory of the Department of Biochemistry, University of Calabar. He is a member of Nigerian society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Society for Experimental Biology of Nigeria. In 2018, he went on a two year leave of absence to participate in Federal Ministry of Foreign Affair’s Technical Aid Programme at the Islamic University In Uganda, Kampala, Uganda. .
