Mr. Godswill Abam Eyong

Mr God’swill Abam Eyong started his carrier as a classroom teacher in Community Secondary School, Agba Umana, Eze Agu Local Government Area, Enugu State in 2002 while undergoing the compulsory National Youths Service Corps. He served as a teacher at Mary Immaculate Girls Juniorate Iwuru, Community Science School, Iwuru and Okoh Comprehensive Secondary School, Ikot Okpora all in Biase Local Government Area of Cross River State between 2003 and 2018. Mr Eyong attended the St. John’s Catholic School Akamkpa, Cross River State ibetween 1982 and 1986. He proceeded to Government Secondary School Akamkpa in 1987, where he wrote the Senior School Certificate Examination in 1992. In 1996 Eyong God’swill gained admission into the University of Calabar Cross River State where he studied and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 2001. He undertook further studies in the Department of Geology and obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Geology and Pollution Studies (2007) and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Geosciences in 2014. His desire to contribute to knowledge and human development propelled him to join the teaching staff of the University of Calabar on the 2nd of August 2018 as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Geology. He is a member of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) and has a deep interest in qualitative research. Mr God’swill Eyong is a team player, hardworking and a lover of intellectual empowerment. He is married to Lovina and blessed with two lovely daughters, Jesam and Confidence..
