Otakore, George Aghogho was employed to the University of Calabar, in December 2013 as a Graduate Assistant. He holds a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Linguistics and Communication Studies from the University of Port Harcourt. He then proceeded to obtain a Masters of Arts Degree in outstanding researches include: The use of ICT in the 2015 Nigerian Presidential election: A study of card reader. Newspaper headlines as a tool for political propaganda in Nigeria amongst others Communication Studies from the University of Calabar. Goeorge teaches different courses in Communication including: Advertising, Public Relations, Language use in the media, African Communication systems. Otakore George has attended academic conferences, where he presented papers with strong debates and apt articles. He has made some researches and concluded same. Some of his. George belong to the following professional bodies/associations: African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), Linguistics Association of Nigeria (LAN), Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), .
