Dr. Gabriel Bubu Ncha

Ncha Gabriel Bubu was employed as an Assistant Lecturer on the 19th August, 2008 and presently a Senior Lecturer. He holds a B.A. M.A. and Ph.D degrees in Philosophy all from the University of Calabar in 1998, 2005 and 2010 respectively. He teaches academic courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels which spans through Ethics, Epistemology, Aesthetics, Social and Political Philosophy and contemporary philosophy. He has also served as secretary of Academic Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Calabar. His MA Thesis was on “John Rawls' Theory of Social Justice and the minority questions in Nigerian politics,” and his PhD Dissertation was on “The Application of some aspects of Jean-Paul Satres' Existentialist Philosophy to the Niger Delta problem,” completed in 2010. He is presently researching on the concept of Existential Justice, his brain child, among other areas in philosophy. Dr. Ncha’s research interests also span through various branches of Philosophy and Humanities in general. These are evident in his numerous academic articles in both local and international Journals, as well as book chapters. .
