Dr. Fredrick Opoh is a voice in Social Science pedagogy and moral/character education. An ardent teacher per passion, academia per excellence and leading edge researcher per prowess. He is a frontier of moral revitalization of the Nigerian social milieu. He holds a Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed.) in Social Studies Education, a Master of Education Degree (M.Ed.) in Curriculum Studies/Social Studies Education and a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) in Social Studies Education all from the prestigious University of Calabar, Nigeria. Consumed with passion for teaching, Dr. Fred as fondly called by colleagues, friends and students started his career as an instructor with the American University of Nigeria, Yola in 2015. He joined the services of the University of Calabar, Nigeria in 2016 as Lecturer II in the Department of Social Science Education, where he teaches courses that border on resuscitation of African culture, ethics, values and morals. He has published widely in learned local and international journals and has presented cutting-edge papers in conferences. He is married with children..
