Mr. Ekerette Emmanuel Ekerette

Dr. Ekerette joined the services of the University of Calabar in 2019 as an Assistant Lecturer. He has a Ph.D in Animal Genetics and Breeding from University of Calabar. He is a very hardworking and enthusiastic academic who has so far contributed immensely to the growth of the University. He has been teaching and supervising undergraduate research works in the area of Animal Genetics since he joined the University. Dr. Ekerette has over 10 articles published in international peer-review journals. She has also attended and presented papers in several conferences. Dr. Ekerette has served as a reviewer for PeerJ. He is a member of the Genetic Society of Nigeria and member, Biotechnology Society of Nigeria. Dr. Ekerette is presently carrying research on genetic variation of tilapia fish using molecular tools. .
