Dr. Ejukwa Osam

Ejukwa Osam was born on 3 October 1971. He attended Presbyterian School Obubra from 1976 to 1981. After his first school leaving certificate, he proceeded to Federal School of Arts and Science Ogoja from 1982 to 1985. He successfully concluded his WAEC O LEVEL. He proceeded to the University of Port Harcourt PH Rivers state in 1986 where he enrolled in Political Science and graduated in 1990. After his NYSC that was preceded by the first degree in Political Science, he was employed to work with the CRS Education Board. After a year he resigned to take employment with the University of Port Harcourt alumni association in Ikeja Lagos. From 1993-95 he was fully engaged. After two years, he left for the Republic of South Africa and resided in Durban for years before enrolling in a Master’s degree in Social Policy. He flew to the United States of America to study Social Work at undergraduate and Masters's levels at the Univ of St Thomas St Paul Minnesota USA. This was a five years program. Immediately after he graduated, he got admitted to doing a Ph.D. in New Zealand in 2010. After two years he graduated in 2012 and returned to Nigeria in 2013. He got employed at the University of Calabar end of Feb 2014. Since then, he has been active on campus and conducting lectures and supervising project students He is divorced with two daughters. .
