Edwin C. Ejesi got employed into the University of Calabar as a Graduate Assistant on the 29th of March, 2012 and presently an Assistant Lecturer. He holds a B.A (First Class) and an M.A Degree in Philosophy, from the University of Calabar. He is currently a Ph.D Student in the Department of Philosophy, University of Calabar. He teaches academic courses at the undergraduate level which cuts across Logic, Philosophy of Language, Modern Philosophy, Peace and Conflict Resolution and Oriental Philosophy etc. His research project includes "Martin Luther King Jr's Theory of Civil Disobedience and the Problem of Ethnocentrism in Nigeria" in 2016. He is a beneficiary of University of Calabar Undergraduate Scholarship Award from 2005/2006- 2008/2009 Academic Session and University of Calabar Study Fellowship 2011/2012-2014/2015 Academic Session; respectively. He received the award/honor of the Best Graduating Student, University of Calabar 2008/2009 Academic Session and the Graduate Scholar 2012/2013 Academic Session of the University of Calabar Post Graduate School. He is a member of the Nigerian Philosophical Association, Calabar School of Philosophy and the Elite African Philosophy Circle. He is currently the President of the Graduate Research Forum, of the Department of Philosophy, University of Calabar. The Conference's that he has attended includes: 1st Faculty of Arts International Conference (12th to 15th April, 2016) and the 2nd African Philosophy World Conference held on the 12th to 14th October, 2017 at the University of Calabar; respectively. .
