Edor J. Edor is a lecturer in the Department of Philosophy, University of Calabar. He was promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer with the effect from October 1, 2017. He bagged his PhD in 2010 specializing in Jurisprudence. His other research areas of interest include philosophy of peace and conflict Resolution, Philosophy of Economic and Social Developments, African Philosophy, and History of Philosophy. In the aforementioned areas, Edor J. Edor has published articles, books and books chapters. At the international plane, as in municipal level, law is a set of rules intended for the ordering regulation of the conduct of man or woman. Yet, rules are being violently and the flagrantly violated. Edor proposes “Complimentary International Jurisprudence” as an antidote to global issues. Some scholars in African Philosophy have canvassed the view that African Philosophy can only be predicated on the creation of an African Logic. In the work ‘The Tribalization of Logic. Edor argues that logic is one. Edor is happily married to his heartthrob Corina, and they have children.
