Mrs. Dorathy Aje Iyamah graduated from the University of Calabar since 1998 from the department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology with a B. Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the Usman Danfodio University Sokoto. She joined the services of the University of Calabar after her M.sc degree in the department of Agricultural Extension aid Rural Sociology and later converted from administrative to Academic staff in the same department. In 2018 as an assistant lecturer. She is currently running a Ph.D programme in the same Department. Her research interest are in the area of Rural Community Development, ICT in Agriculture, Women Development Studies, Climate change and Environmental Extension. She has been teaching and mentoring students since 2018. She has co-authored over ten articles in both local and international journal and has attended and published several conference papers. She is a member of the farm management association of Nigeria and married with five children. .
