Donald Ikwun Omang is a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Biological Science. A graduate of Microbiology from the Cross River University of Technology, Calabar, and a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Calabar. He is currently studying for my Ph.D. in Public Health concentrating in Environmental Health from the University of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. His research interest covers Environmental Health Science, Solid waste, and Occupational health. Mr. Donald Omang has carried out much research and has published them in reputable international journals. He is a member of the Environmental Health regulatory council of Nigerian. (EHORECORN). Donald is a vibrant, resourceful, smart, and innovative person with strong passion and interest in creating a positive impact in the society especially through participation and involvement in health, community, humanitarian, and social development projects. I have been involved in trainings, research, and community projects that have built my skills and knowledge in my areas of interest within the non-for-profit sector. I am proficient in the use of basic computer applications including Microsoft Office Excel, and other computer applications. I am always willing to learn and accept positive criticisms that would help me progress in my career. I can adapt to diverse work settings and multi-cultural environments and always willing to contribute my knowledge, skills, and time towards achieving set objectives..
