Dr Catherine Alex Agbor is an Associate Professor of Curriculum Studies (Language Arts) in the Department of Arts Education. She holds a Ph. D in Curriculum Studies (Language Arts) from the University of Calabar (2006). Catherine joined the services of University of Calabar in 1998 as Graduate Assistant. She rose through the ranks to be promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2014. Her research interests include Curriculum delivery at all levels of education. She teaches both undergraduate and post graduate (Masters and Ph.D) courses in Language methods (French) and Curriculum theories respectively. She has successfully supervised over five graduate students’ thesis. Dr Agbor has published papers in national and international journals. She has also attended both local and foreign conferences where she has made presentations. Dr Agbor is a member many leaned organisations including the Curriculum Organisation of Nigeria, University French Teachers Association of Nigeria, World Council for Curriculum and Instruction and many others. She is married with children..
