BONCHUK, M. O. Ph.D is a Professor of International Boundaries, Borderlands and Cross-Border Resource Management. He holds a BA (Hons) History; M A International Relations; M. Sc. Strategic Studies; Acad. Dip. and Ph.D degrees. He was educated at University of Calabar, University of Lagos and City University of Florence, Italy. His research interest cover such areas as history, international relations, diplomacy, international boundaries and borderlands, security, conflict management and strategic cross-border resources management. He has taught and supervised14 Doctoral and 12 MA/M.Sc degrees holders, with about 8 of post-graduate students still under his supervision. Currently, he lectures in the Department of History and International Studies, University of Calabar, Nigeria..
