Dr Anne Omori had her higher education in the University of Calabar, Calabar, where she obtained a Diploma in Business Administration in 1997. She later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education/Cooperative Management in 2002, then Master and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Education from the Department of Adult Education, University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2007 and 2016 respectively. She followed up with computer training at the Advanced College of Computer Engineering Technology, where she obtained a certificate in Microsoft word processing. Dr. Anne was employed as Assistant Research Fellow in the Institute of Education, University of Calabar, Nigeria in 2008. She rose to the present post - Research Fellow I, by promotion in 2016. In addition to teaching, she engages in research, advising students and supervising postgraduate students. Dr. Omori served her Faculty as Faculty Representative to the Faculties of Allied Medical Science and Basic Medical Science between 2009 and till date. She has also served as member, University Central Time-Table Committee from 2016 to date. At various times between 2009 and to date, Dr. Omori has served as member, Institute of Education Review Committee for both Ordinary Diploma and Postgraduate programmes. Between 2014 and 2015, she served as Associate Editor, International Journal of World Universities Forum, International Journal of Knowledge Management and International Journal of Diversity in Education. Dr. Omori has also served as a member of the International Advisory Board of the 7th and 10th International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation in Serville, Spain from 2014 and 2017. Apart from her International membership, she also served as member of Local Organizing Committee of the second and third Institute of Education International Conferences. With modesty, Dr. Anne was among the first three Nigerian recipients of first round of arly Careers Academic award, offered to mark Association of Commonwealth Universities Centenary in 2013. Dr. Anne research efforts have gravitated around human resource development, distance education, job performance, teamwork, workers education, sustainable development, information technology and trending areas. These efforts have resulted in both international and local publications, and local and international conference presentations. Dr. Anne Omori is currently coordinating all the Diploma programmes in Institute of Education. .
