The administration of Prof. Zana Akpagu, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar, has recorded another milestone with the appointment of Prof. Yakubu Ochefu, the national President of Unical Alumni Association, as Executive Secretary of Committee of Vice-Chancellors. Ochefu, a renowned scholar and former Vice-Chancellor of Kwararafa University, was elected as National President, Unical Alumni Association earlier in the year. Commenting on the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Akpagu,congratulated the new CVC Executive Secretary noting that the CVC was getting the best and right man for the job. He promised his support and that of the University to ensure that Prof. Ochefu succeeds in his new assignment.
