A team of Federal Ministry of Education officials have visited Unical to administer question skill Gaps Assessment Forms to the Faculty of Engineering and Environmental Sciences. According to the leader of the team, an Assistant Director, Universities, Federal Ministry of Education, Mr. James Ocheido the aim of the visit is to collate data and information necessary to proffer solution towards the problems of Graduate Unemployment. “The exercise will create new ways of expanding entrepreneurial skills to break the present trend” he said. Receiving the team in his office, the Vice Chancellor University of Calabar, Prof Zana Akpagu expressed his happiness at the visit, noting that it was in sync with the desire of University Management. The Vice Chancellor who was represented by Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration Prof (Mrs) Lucy Udida expressed the hope that the exercise will produce the desired result. He thanked the team for coming to the University of Calabar and wish them a rewarding exercise.
